For macOS:
- Launch System Preferences.
- Click on Printers & Scanners.
- Check the connection of your Sawgrass printer to the computer.
- If it shows as Offline, ensure the cable is securely connected.
- If the issue continues, try removing and re-adding the printer. Select the printer (not Print Manager), click the minus (-) button, then click the plus (+) button to add it back.
- If problems persist, reset the printing system by right-clicking or Ctrl+clicking on an empty space in the printer list and choosing Reset Printing System. (Note: Resetting the printing system will remove all printers, including non-Sawgrass printers, giving you a fresh start.)
For Windows:
- Reinstall the USB Printing Support driver to reset the printer driver.
- Press the Start button, type Device Manager, and open it.
- Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section by clicking the arrow (>), and locate USB Printing Support.
- Right-click on it and choose Uninstall. (It will reinstall automatically.)
- If asked, repeat the process to ensure successful removal.
- After restarting your computer, go to Action and select Scan for Hardware Changes in Device Manager.
